Amex Expands Luxury Hotel Portfolio with Over 350 New Properties
American Express has expanded its Fine Hotels + Resorts program by over 350 new properties, bringing the total to more than 3,400 hotels across 116 countries. This significant addition comes as the company celebrates the 35th anniversary of Fine Hotels + Resorts.
The expansion includes a range of premium hotels, from beach escapes and culinary capitals to culture-rich cities and adventure destinations. American Express Platinum card members will benefit from exclusive benefits when staying at these properties, including $100 property credits, daily breakfast for two, guaranteed late check-out, 12-pm check-in, and room upgrades when available.
Audrey Hendley, President of American Express Travel, highlighted the evolution of luxury travel, stating that 'the right hotel can shape the entire experience of a trip.' She noted that hotels have become more than just a place to stay, but rather an integral part of the destination experience. The company's focus remains on curating distinctive properties and delivering meaningful value to its card members.
