Amex GBT and SAP Concur Unveil Enhanced Complete Platform Features

American Express Global Business Travel (GBT) and SAP Concur are rolling out new features to their Complete platform, which brings together travel, expense, servicing, and marketplace capabilities. Since the partnership was formed in October 2025, 80% of joint customers have adopted the new Complete product, with the rest transitioning over. The new features include leakage reporting, perks, and disruption alerts.

Leakage reporting will provide travel managers with a more complete view of bookings, including offline data from Concur Travel and Amex GBT. This will enable them to strengthen duty of care, improve policy compliance, and cost control. The feature is available now for early adopter customers, with general availability planned for early 2027.

The 'Perks' feature includes supplier offers and loyalty benefits displayed at the point of sale, helping organisations maximise their travel programme's return on investment (ROI). This will be generally available in August 2026. Disruption alerts will provide travellers with notifications, guidance, support, and self-service trip changes when their trips are disrupted.

Evan Konwiser, Chief Product and Strategy Officer at Amex GBT, stated that the new features aim to improve transparency and automate workflows, making travel easier for both travellers and managers. 'This is something that's been on our travellers' list and our customers' list for a long time and it's actually quite difficult to really drive effective and efficient disruption management,' he said.
