The American Express Gold Card has been upgraded to include expanded benefits for dining and ride credits. New cardholders can earn up to 100,000 points after spending $8,000 in six months. The annual fee remains at $325 with no foreign transaction fees.
The updated card offers monthly credits of $10 for Uber rides, $7 at Dunkin', and a yearly credit of $100 at Resy restaurants. Additionally, cardholders can earn up to $120 per year in dining credits across various platforms like Grubhub and Five Guys.
The Gold Card still offers 4X points on restaurant purchases and U.S. supermarkets, capped at $50,000 and $25,000 respectively per year. The card also retains its existing benefits, including 5X points on prepaid hotel stays via Amex Travel and 3X on flights booked through Amex or directly with airlines.
