Amex Supplements Bonus Points on Eligible Cards Through 2026

American Express has introduced a new bonus points promotion for eligible personal cards. Until October 29, 2026, cardholders can earn additional points by adding supplementary cardholders to their accounts.

The offer applies to Platinum, Gold, Cobalt, Green, Aeroplan, and Marriott Bonvoy variants, with each supplementary card requiring specific spending within three months to qualify for bonus points. For example, two Platinum supplementary cards can earn 60,000 points in total if $3,000 is spent on the primary card.

Eligible cardholders can add a maximum of two supplementary cards per primary account, with annual fees varying by card type and number of supplementary cards added. Supplementary cardholders receive full benefits and earn points at primary card rates, including lounge access or bonus categories.
