Amgen, AstraZeneca's Tezepelumab-ekko Shows Promise in EoE Treatment

Amgen and AstraZeneca have announced positive Phase 3 results for their treatment TEZSPIRE in patients with eosinophilic esophagitis.

The CROSSING trial, which involved 368 patients aged 12-80 years with symptomatic EoE, met both primary endpoints: improving tissue inflammation and reducing swallowing symptoms.

Results at week 24 showed statistically significant improvements in histologic remission and swallowing symptom measures, with benefits sustained through week 52.
