Amgen Crushes Q2 Earnings Expectations on Strong Portfolio Growth
Amgen's second-quarter earnings call highlighted the company's strong performance across its portfolio. The biotech giant reported total revenues exceeding $10 billion, a 10% year-over-year increase.
Repatha, EVENITY, and TEZSPIRE were among the top-performing products, with double-digit sales growth in each of these areas. Repatha grew 37%, WHILE EVENITY increased by 38%. TEZSPIRE reached $486 million in sales, driven by strong demand in severe uncontrolled asthma.
The company's six key growth drivers are propelling the business forward, with many of its first-in-class and best-in-class medicines addressing large and under-penetrated disease areas. Amgen is focused on disciplined execution and generating high-quality evidence required to bring these medicines to patients.
