Amgen Crushes Q2 Expectations, Guides for Strong Full-Year Sales
Biotech giant Amgen (NASDAQ:AMGN) has reported strong Q2 CY2026 numbers, beating Wall Street's revenue expectations. The company's sales rose by 9.5% year on year to $10.05 billion, outperforming analyst estimates of $9.40 billion. This represents a significant beat of 6.9% and marks the second consecutive quarter of growth above expectations.
The firm's non-GAAP profit came in at $6.29 per share, up 12% from analysts' consensus estimates. This is a testament to Amgen's continued success in its key growth drivers, which grew by 26% year on year and generated nearly 70% of second-quarter product sales.
Looking ahead, Amgen has guided for strong full-year sales, with revenue guidance increased to $38.8 billion at the midpoint from $37.8 billion. The company's operating margin also improved, reaching 35%, up from 28.9% in the same quarter last year.
