Amgen Irish Open 2026: Trump Course Hosts High-Stakes Golf Tournament
The Amgen Irish Open is set to take place at Trump International Golf Links in Doonbeg, Ireland in 2026. The tournament will feature a field of 156 players competing over four days. The event is part of the DP World Tour and will have a purse of $6 million.
The format for the tournament remains unchanged this year, with players competing in threesomes each day. After two rounds, the top 65 players and ties will make the cut. For the final two rounds, pairings and tee times will be based on each player's total score through two and three rounds.
Any ties after 72 holes will be settled by a sudden-death playoff under DP World Tour rules. The winner of the tournament will receive a two-season exemption on the DP World Tour and earn 835 points towards their ranking. They will also pick up a significant portion of the $6 million purse.
