Amgen Surpasses Expectations in Q2 Earnings
Amgen Inc., (NASDAQ:AMGN), reported its second-quarter 2026 earnings, exceeding expectations in terms of revenue and profit. The biotechnology company's net sales rose to $6.8 billion, a 7% increase from the same period last year.
The company attributed this growth to strong performances in its key franchises, including Enbrel, Prolia, and Otezla. Amgen also saw significant increases in revenue from its newer products, such as Aimovig and Repatha.
Looking ahead, Amgen provided guidance for the full year 2026, forecasting net sales of $26.2 billion to $27.2 billion. This represents a range of 5-8% growth over last year's results.
