ANA Takes Flight with New Boeing 737-8 Fleet
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is set to receive its first Boeing 737-8 aircraft in October. This marks the beginning of a new chapter for ANA, which had announced plans to order up to 30 of these planes as replacements for their existing Boeing 737-800 fleet back in July 2022.
The Boeing 737-8 boasts impressive specs: it's 39.5 meters long and has a wingspan of 35.9 meters, with a range of 6,570 kilometers. Compared to its predecessor, the Boeing 737NG, the new aircraft promises to reduce fuel consumption by 15%.
The delivery schedule was initially pushed back from fiscal year 2025, but ANA is now on track to take possession of these cutting-edge planes in the coming months.
