ANA Unveils Pokémon-Themed Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner for International Service
All Nippon Airways (ANA) is set to introduce its latest Pokémon-themed Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, known as the Green Pokémon Jet, to international service in September 2026. The aircraft will mark the airline's 40th anniversary of international flights and coincide with Pokémon's 30th anniversary.
The Green Pokémon Jet will feature Pikachu alongside Grass-type Pokémon characters from the popular franchise on its exterior design. The widebody aircraft will also have Pokémon-themed elements inside the cabin, including special headrest covers, commemorative products, and custom cocktail napkins on international flights.
ANA has already introduced a Red Pokémon Jet Boeing 787-8 registered JA819A, while a Blue Pokémon Jet based on a Boeing 737-800 is planned for domestic operations later in the year. The Green Pokémon Jet will operate from both Tokyo Haneda Airport (HND) and Narita International Airport (NRT), connecting to several major international destinations.
