ANA's Fleet Growth Plan Meets Demand for Japan Travel
In 2025, Japan welcomed over 42 million international travelers, an all-time high. To meet this demand, All Nippon Airways (ANA) has announced further consolidation of its fleet with additional Embraer E190-E2s expected. ANA operates the world's largest Dreamliner fleet and flies all three variants on domestic and international flights.
For a recent trip from Tokyo to Frankfurt, our writer chose to fly ANA over Lufthansa's Boeing 747-8i due to unbeatable value for money at 400 EUR one-way. The flight was operated by a Boeing 787-9 Dreamliner, the same aircraft and destination as their previous flight.
At Tokyo Haneda Airport, our writer took advantage of the airport's efficient public transport, shopping options, and ANA's lounge facilities. The lounge features hundreds of seats, shower rooms, a business center, and drink stations. Our writer enjoyed a bowl of ramen noodles and an oversized signature curry before taking a seat in one of the largest booths to work on editing.
