Ancora Advisors Invests in The Travelers Companies Amid Institutional Buying Spree

Ancora Advisors LLC, an institutional investor, has purchased a new position in shares of The Travelers Companies, Inc. (NYSE:TRV) during the second quarter.

The company bought 19,062 shares of the insurance provider's stock, valued at approximately $4,203,000.

This is not an isolated incident, as other hedge funds and institutional investors have also been increasing their stakes in TRV. In fact, BlackRock Inc. acquired a new stake in The Travelers Companies worth around $6.9 billion in the second quarter.

The institutional ownership of TRV stands at 82.45%, with notable shareholders including State Street Corp and Morgan Stanley.
