Android Auto Mistakes to Avoid for a Less Stressful Drive
I've been using Android Auto for a while now, and I thought I had it down to a science. However, I recently realized that I was making some mistakes that were adding unnecessary stress to my drives.
One of the first things I changed was assuming wireless Android Auto was always the better option. While it's convenient for short drives, I found that wired connectivity provided more reliability, especially on longer trips or when using navigation for hours.
I also used to use whatever USB cable was lying around, but this turned out to be a bad idea. Not all cables work properly with all cars, and I found that replacing the cable with a good-quality data one made a big difference in reducing disconnections.
Another habit I broke was relying solely on Google Maps for every drive. While it's great for turn-by-turn directions, Waze proved to be a better choice when driving during busy commutes or taking routes where conditions could change quickly.
