Android Feature Drop Brings AI-Powered Tracking and Image Enhancement
Google has rolled out its latest Android feature drop, which includes several new features designed to make life easier for users. One of the main additions is a memory feature that lets you keep track of important items without needing to attach a tracker.
The feature, called Find Hub, allows you to log where you left important items such as your passport or extra USB security key. You can then look up their locations later on using the app.
This update also includes a Guided Vision tool that uses AI to describe objects in front of your phone's camera and offer tips on how to improve the image quality.
Another feature, called Gemini Live, puts the AI assistant to work in Android's Guided Vision tool. This allows you to get visual descriptions of things in front of your camera and even receive tips on how to better capture images.
The latest feature drop also includes a setting that helps people feel less motion sickness while checking their phones in moving cars by displaying a subtle bubble overlay that moves in sync with the car.
