Android Pulse App Surfaces in Google Play Store Updates as Accidental Listing
The Android Pulse app has recently appeared in Google Play Store updates, sparking curiosity among users. According to 9to5Google, this app is a Google system service designed to make Android devices more secure and reliable.
A Google spokesperson stated that the app's appearance in the Play Store was accidental, but an update has been pushed so that users can now see it in their settings. The app facilitates rule distribution for anomaly detection in critical system resource consumption by the Android operating system and installed applications.
The 'Android Pulse' service does not have a user interface and is meant to help with software diagnostics for the OS itself and any installed apps. The app has existed since March, with seven previous builds, and has over 10 million downloads on APKMirror.
