Anthropic is reportedly moving closer to its planned Wall Street debut, with Morgan Stanley and Goldman Sachs expected to secure key roles in a potential $2 trillion IPO. The Claude maker could file its prospectus as soon as next week and start trading in New York by late September or early October.

Morgan Stanley is the frontrunner for Anthropic's 'lead left' mandate, while Goldman Sachs is expected to take on the stabilization-agent role. This involves overseeing the early trading sessions after the listing.

JPMorgan, Citigroup, and Barclays are also expected to receive leading positions on the offering, having provided debt financing to Anthropic.
