Anthropic Secures $15 Billion Pre-IPO Credit Facility Ahead of Historic IPO

Anthropic, an artificial intelligence company, is set to finalize a $15 billion pre-IPO credit facility. This expansion signals a critical step ahead of its initial public offering (IPO).

Morgan Stanley is leading the process, with Goldman Sachs Group Inc., JPMorgan Chase & Co., and Citigroup Inc. also playing prominent roles on the facility.

The Claude chatbot maker is seeking to raise as much as SpaceX or more in the IPO, which could be one of the largest listings this year.

Anthropic had initially sought commitments from banks worth around $1.25 billion each for the most active lenders, with the next level being encouraged to offer about $1 billion.
