Apple CEO John Ternus to Earn $58 Million Package in FY27
Apple has revealed its compensation packages for new CEO John Ternus and outgoing Executive Chairman Tim Cook. For fiscal year 2027, Ternus is set to receive a target compensation package of $58 million.
The breakdown includes a $3 million annual base salary, as well as a stock grant with a target value of $55 million next year.
According to the filing, three-quarters of Ternus' equity award will be based on Apple's performance relative to the S&P 500. The remaining 25% will comprise time-based stock units that vest semiannually.
Cook, who is handing over the CEO role after 15 years at the helm, will receive a total target compensation of around $47 million for fiscal year 2027.
His annual salary will fall to $2 million from $3 million as part of his new role. Cook's 2027 stock package has a target value of $45 million.
