Apple Crowned World's Most Admired Company for 2026
Apple has been ranked as the world's most admired company for 2026 by Fortune in its annual World's Most Admired Companies list. The Cupertino-based tech giant took the top spot, beating out competitors like Microsoft and Amazon. Apple was ranked No. 1 in innovation, people management, use of corporate assets, social responsibility, quality of management, financial soundness, long-term investment value, and global competitiveness.
Microsoft secured the No. 2 spot, thanks to its leadership role in the generative AI revolution through partnerships with OpenAI and development of Copilot-branded AI applications. Amazon, Nvidia, and JPMorgan Chase rounded out the top five spots, respectively.
The rankings were determined by a survey of over 3,000 executives, directors, and securities analysts who named the 10 companies they admired most. The list was narrowed down from around 1,500 companies to just 50 'All-Stars' in various industries.
