Apple Faces Rising Memory Costs Ahead of Global iPhone Price Adjustments

Apple's iPhone 18 component costs may rise due to increasing memory prices. Industry sources suggest that Apple (AAPL) might trim its product margins to offset some of these increases, which could make the iPhone 18 Pro more expensive than expected.

The company has announced plans to adjust global iPhone 17 prices by the end of August 2026, using Japan pricing as a reference. The price changes will be capped at 1,000 yuan per model, which is crucial for traders monitoring pricing risk.

Apple has also opened an Advanced Manufacturing Center in Houston, which will offer free advanced manufacturing training. Mac mini production is set to start later this year.
