Apple Hikes Streaming Prices for Second Consecutive Year
Apple has raised the prices of its streaming services for the second consecutive year. Apple TV+ now costs $14.99 per month, up from $12.99, while the annual plan has increased to $119 from $99. The Apple One subscription bundle also saw a price hike, with the individual tier rising to $21.95 per month from $19.95.
The latest increase marks nearly a tripling of the original price of Apple TV+, which launched at just $4.99 per month in 2019. Other streaming services, including Netflix and Disney+, have also raised their prices in recent years. The price adjustments come as Apple reported a record June quarter, driven by strong iPhone sales and record spring quarter Mac revenue.
