Apple Holds Firm Amid Big Tech Turmoil
Apple's stock remained relatively stable on Thursday morning, trading at $316.41 as other major tech stocks struggled with the rising bond yield and Treasury yields.
This stability is largely due to Apple's lower dependence on AI infrastructure spending, which sets it apart from its peers in the Magnificent Seven group.
According to DataTrek Research, Apple is Big Tech's least-correlated major stock, as reported by MarketWatch.
While Microsoft, Amazon, and Alphabet are aggressively investing in AI infrastructure, Apple is focusing on protecting its cash machine and carefully moving into consumer AI with an installed base of 2.5 billion devices.
This strategy comes at a cost, with Apple trading 11.52% above its GF Value estimate of $283.73 and around 36 times trailing earnings.
