Apple Negotiations Fall Flat Amid Memory Price Crunch

Apple Inc.'s (AAPL) efforts to secure lower memory prices from China's CXMT were reportedly unsuccessful, according to Digital Daily. The iPhone maker had been negotiating with CXMT for mobile dynamic random access memory (DRAM) prices, but the talks failed to yield a deal. In contrast, Huawei and Xiaomi struck deals with CXMT for lower DRAM prices.

The news comes at a time when there is a shortage of DRAM chips in the market. Apple has been trying to manage its costs amid this shortage by negotiating with suppliers like CXMT. However, it seems that the negotiations have not borne fruit yet.
