Apple Pay has arrived in the Philippines, and Filipinos are already sharing their experiences using it to make cashless payments. A Twitter user shared a video of himself entering the Metro Rail Transit-Line 3 (MRT-3) using his iPhone with Apple Pay.

The video shows the commuter approaching the turnstile with his iPhone and being able to pass through after his Apple Pay was detected, using a GoTyme card for the payment. Several online users shared their reactions, including suggestions on how to use Apple Pay more efficiently.

GoTyme, UnionBank, Chinabank, and Metrobank are among the banks whose cards are supported by Apple Pay in the Philippines. A tutorial on setting up Apple Pay on iPhones and other Apple devices was also shared online.
