Apple Set to Unveil Foldable iPhone at September 9 Launch Event
Apple is set to unveil its first foldable iPhone at an event on September 9. The device, code-named 'Ternus', marks a significant departure from traditional iPhones and will be available with two other new models: the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max.
The IDC research firm predicts that Apple's foldable iPhone will sell over 10 million units in its first year on the market, despite an expected price tag of $2,500. This is seen as a strategic move by Apple to counter the declining smartphone market, which is projected to fall by 16.7% this year.
Apple's new CEO, John Ternus, is taking the helm for his first major product launch and has pledged to focus on advancing new product categories and artificial intelligence technologies.
