Apple Shares Surge as Analysts Predict Foldable iPhone Boost
Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) shares increased by 1.5% on Tuesday following an upgrade from Rothschild & Co Redburn to a strong-buy rating, with a price target of $400.
The analyst cited Apple's potential entry into premium foldable iPhones and its artificial-intelligence strategy as reasons for the upgrade.
This is not the first time this week that Apple has received positive news. The company announced a simplified European fee structure, including a 5% commission on digital transactions for apps distributed through alternative app stores or the web.
Rothschild & Co Redburn is not alone in its optimism about Apple's future. Two other analysts have given the stock a strong-buy rating, while twenty-one have issued a buy rating and twelve a hold rating.
