Apple Stake Boosted by Liontrust Investment Partners LLP

Liontrust Investment Partners LLP has increased its stake in Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) by 22.9% during the first quarter, according to a recent Form 13F filing with the SEC.

The firm now owns 162,533 shares of Apple's stock, valued at $41,249,000.

This is not an isolated case, as other institutional investors have also modified their holdings in Apple. Norges Bank bought a new stake in shares of Apple during the fourth quarter worth about $52,266,468,000.

Vanguard Group Inc. raised its holdings in Apple by 1.9% during the fourth quarter and now owns 1,426,283,914 shares of the iPhone maker's stock.
