Apple Stock Rises on Foldable iPhone and New Mac Announcements
Apple stock has been trending upward following its recent product launch event and several new Mac announcements. The company unveiled its first foldable iPhone, dubbed the iPhone Duo, which features a breakthrough design intended to be both durable and versatile.
The iPhone Duo was introduced alongside other new devices, including the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, which boast advanced camera systems, longer battery life, and Siri AI powered by the A20 Pro chip. Apple also debuted the Apple Watch Series 12 and Apple Watch Ultra 4, both of which feature a new Health Sensing System.
Separately, on August 25, Apple introduced the Mac Studio featuring the M5 Max and M5 Ultra chips, positioning it as the company's most powerful desktop for on-device AI and demanding professional workflows. The chips themselves - M6, Apple's first 2-nanometer chip, and M5 Ultra, its first quad-die architecture - were introduced alongside those Mac updates.
The stock carries a Buy rating with an average price forecast of $334.94. Recent analyst moves include TD Cowen maintaining a Buy rating with a target of $400.00, Rosenblatt keeping a Neutral rating with a target of $303.00, and B of A Securities lowering their target to $370.00.
