Apple Stocks Falter Ahead of Foldable iPhone Launch and CEO Transition
Apple stocks have been trading around $311, down about 10% from their peak of $339.79 recorded on July 28.
The stock has had a choppy run recently, with a 2.19% gain followed by a 1.75% decline in the next session.
Tim Cook is set to leave his CEO role on August 31, and hardware engineering chief John Ternus will take over on September 1.
Ternus has had a quieter public presence than Cook, but he will be the second Apple CEO with a product and engineering background after Steve Jobs in 2005.
