Apple Tops Fortune's Global Rankings as World's Most Admired Company

Fortune's annual ranking of the world's most admired companies has crowned Apple as the top company for 2026. The Cupertino-based tech giant took the number one spot in eight categories, including innovation, people management, and social responsibility.

The rankings were compiled by Fortune in collaboration with Korn Ferry, a global organisational consulting firm. Over 3,000 executives, directors, and securities analysts were surveyed to identify the companies they admired most.

Microsoft secured the number two spot, thanks in part to its leading role in the generative AI revolution through its partnership with OpenAI and Copilot-branded AI applications.

The top 10 most admired companies for 2026 are: Apple, Microsoft, Amazon, Nvidia, JPMorgan Chase, Berkshire Hathaway, Costco Wholesale, Alphabet, Walmart, and American Express. The rankings were compiled from a list of over 1,500 companies across 29 countries.
