Apple Unveils Flagship Lineup, Enters Foldable Market With $2,000 iPhone Duo
Apple Inc. unveiled its latest flagship lineup at an event broadcast from Cupertino, California. The company introduced the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which start at $1,199 and $1,299 respectively. These premium devices feature Apple's new A20 Pro processor and a redesigned thermal architecture that delivers up to 40% higher sustained performance.
The flagship models also boast advanced camera hardware, including a 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera with a physical variable aperture for the first time. The lens system allows users to manually control light entry and depth of field, while the Camera app includes 'Pro controls' for manual adjustments.
Apple has entered the foldable market with the iPhone Duo, priced at $2,000. This device features a custom mechanical hinge design that reduces visible screen creases and enhances structural durability. The iPhone Duo also supports input via the Apple Pencil and provides the largest display ever featured on an iPhone.
