Apple Unveils Foldable iPhone Duo and Updated Pro Models in Major Product Launch
Apple's new CEO John Ternus is facing his first major product launch today. The company will unveil several new devices, including a foldable iPhone called the iPhone Duo and updated iPhone Pro Max models.
The iPhone Duo is expected to start at $2,000, with higher-capacity versions reaching up to $3,000. It will feature a short-and-wide design, Apple's new in-house C2 modem, the A20 Pro chip, dual rear 48-megapixel cameras, and support for the Apple Pencil.
The event will also introduce the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max, which are expected to retain last year's design while adding a mechanical aperture camera system, the A20 Pro chip, longer battery life, and a revamped vapor chamber. Apple is reportedly raising prices on the iPhone 18 Pro and Pro Max by $100 per model.
New Apple Watch Series 12 and Ultra 4 models, along with a lower-cost AirPods 5, are also expected to be unveiled. This marks Ternus's first major product launch since taking over as CEO from Tim Cook on September 1.
