Apple's Foldable iPhone Launch to Drive Stock Price Momentum
Apple's (AAPL) stock price is expected to be influenced by several factors in the coming days, particularly the launch of its foldable iPhone on September 9. According to Citi, Apple will sell around 5 million units of this new device in the second half of 2026 and an additional 2.3 million in the first quarter of 2027.
The firm Popal forecasts that revenue from foldables will exceed $45 billion by the end of 2027, which could boost Apple's stock price. Historically, AAPL has seen a rise in its stock price in the 60 days following an iPhone launch, having done so 17 times since 2007.
Analysts remain mostly bullish on Apple, with an average price target of $328.75, representing a 3.96% increase from the current price. However, not all analysts are optimistic, as JPM and Morgan Stanley have recently reduced their price targets to $340 and $360 respectively.
