Apple's New iPhone 18 Pro Models Debut With Major Upgrades
Apple's stock price dipped 0.76% to $313.82 on Wednesday as the company unveiled its latest premium iPhone models, the iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max.
The new devices feature a powerful A20 Pro chip built using two-nanometer technology, which provides 50% more memory bandwidth than its predecessor. The chip also boasts six CPU cores and a redesigned seven-core graphics processor for improved performance.
The iPhone 18 Pro lineup offers several notable upgrades, including a new 48-megapixel Fusion Main camera with variable aperture technology, allowing users to control depth, lighting, and image detail more precisely. Battery life has also been significantly improved, with up to 36 hours of video playback on eSIM-only models.
The devices will ship with iOS 27 and the latest version of Siri AI, which can use personal context from various sources to handle user requests. The software also introduces new editing features for photographs and expanded tools across Apple's applications.
