Arajet Expands Operations with New Fleet and Hub in Dominican Republic
Arajet, a low-cost carrier based in the Dominican Republic, is expanding its operations by adding two new Boeing 737-8 aircraft to its fleet and establishing a third hub in Santiago de los Caballeros.
The airline currently operates 16 of these fuel-efficient planes and expects to receive one more in 2026, bringing its total to 17. By the end of 2027, Arajet plans to add eight more Boeing 737-8 aircraft to its fleet, reaching a total of approximately 26.
The new hub in Santiago de los Caballeros will provide direct connections to Latin American destinations and reduce travel times for passengers. The airline's current hubs are located in Santo Domingo and Punta Cana.
