Arajet Invests in Local Talent with Boeing Partnership
Dominican airline Arajet has expanded its workforce by hiring four new first officers and 18 cabin crew members as part of its efforts to strengthen the country's aeronautical industry. The airline, which began operations recently, has focused on training local professionals in various roles.
Arajet's Cadets program, partnered with Boeing, provides full scholarships valued at over $300,000 to selected cadets. After completing their training, participants have a guaranteed job with Arajet as first officers or pilots.
The airline's founding CEO Víctor Pacheco Méndez emphasized that the carrier's growth is creating new opportunities for Dominicans while helping develop the country's aviation workforce. Arajet has focused on investing in human capital to support its expansion and contribute to a stronger Dominican aviation ecosystem.
