Archer Aviation's stock soared 18.43% premarket after announcing it would acquire Boeing's Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid subsidiaries.

The deal will give Archer access to a profitable defense business with over $200 million in annual revenue and operations across 35 countries.

Boeing will take a stake in Archer as a strategic partner and receive shares equal to about 19.75% of its Class A stock, plus warrants covering roughly $100 million of shares each.

The deal is expected to close by the end of 2026, pending antitrust and national-security clearance.
