Archer Aviation Soars on Boeing Partnership

Instruments
BA
Share

Archer Aviation's stock has seen a significant rebound in recent months, rising by over 50% from its lows. The company's partnership with Boeing is largely credited for this surge, as Archer will now take control of three Boeing subsidiaries: Wisk, Skygrid, and Insitu. These subsidiaries specialize in advanced air traffic management, drones, and electric vertical takeoff and landing (eVTOL) technology.

As part of the deal, Boeing will receive a 20% stake in Archer's outstanding common stock, as well as warrants to purchase additional shares if Archer's share price rises. This partnership is seen as a major boon for Archer, providing it with access to Boeing's resources and expertise in the aerospace industry.

Archer has also announced a defense-focused eVTOL product in collaboration with Anduril Technologies, a start-up specializing in defense contracting. While this development is generating investor excitement, there are concerns about the company's cash burn rate and lack of revenue.
