Archer Aviation Stock Surges on Boeing Deal and AI Bets
Archer Aviation Inc.'s stock has seen significant movement in recent days, surging after a major deal with Boeing. The company will acquire Wisk Aero, Insitu, and SkyGrid units from Boeing in a stock transaction that will give Boeing nearly 20% equity stake and warrants in return.
The acquisition is expected to add over $200M in annual revenue to Archer Aviation's bottom line and give the company a boost in autonomous eVTOL, air traffic management, and defense drones. Archer Aviation also launched the Thunder/Halo hybrid-electric autonomous VTOL platform with Anduril, lining up Marubeni Aerospace as a strategic launch partner for Halo.
Archer Aviation's Zee aviation AI model was rolled out, and the company co-founded ACES to build charging at 250+ air-taxi sites by 2030. Despite heavy cash burn of $215.3M quarter over quarter, Archer Aviation holds $1.56B in liquidity and a balance sheet built to support its scale-up.
For traders, this combination, big vision, heavy news flow, and sharp price swings, creates opportunity, but only for those who respect risk. As millionaire penny stock trader and teacher Tim Sykes says, 'Preparation plus patience leads to big profits.' ACHR is showing it can spike.
