Archer Investment Corp has purchased new shares in Visa Inc., valued at approximately $2.29 million, according to its recent 13F filing with the SEC.

The fund bought 6,685 shares of the credit-card processor's stock during the second quarter, marking a new position in the company.

Archer Investment Corp is not the only institutional investor that has recently increased its stake in Visa. Other hedge funds and investors have also modified their holdings of the business.

Numerous other institutional investors, including Brighton Jones LLC, Revolve Wealth Partners LLC, and Matrix Asset Advisors Inc., raised or lifted their positions in Visa during the second quarter.
