Arcos Dorados Hits Record Revenue as McDonald's Latin America Sales Soar
Arcos Dorados Holdings Inc., which operates McDonald's restaurants in Latin America, reported record revenue of $1.306 billion for its second quarter, exceeding analyst estimates.
The company's earnings per share more than doubled to 22 cents from 11 cents a year earlier, while systemwide comparable sales rose 15.3% due to increased guest traffic and digital sales.
Brazil was the standout market, with revenue jumping 25.3% to $520.6 million and adjusted EBITDA surging 43.2% to $75.8 million.
