Arista Networks Rides AI Networking Surge
Arista Networks is benefiting from the rapid expansion of AI data-center infrastructure. As AI workloads increase, Arista's Etherlink AI fabric portfolio is gaining traction due to its ability to meet evolving demands for networking capabilities such as traffic engineering, low latency, reliability, and security.
The company has seen a significant growth in cumulative Etherlink customers, with over 100 customers now compared to just four or five in 2024. Arista's EOS operating system is also driving demand due to its ability to meet the complex needs of AI infrastructure.
Arista is expanding beyond its current reliance on NVIDIA GPUs and exploring other options such as AMD's MI-series accelerators, Google's TPUs, and various inference accelerators. This diversification is expected to expand Arista's addressable networking opportunity.
The company is also addressing the growing trend of distributed AI environments by providing high-capacity switching and routing capabilities through its 7800 platform.
