Aristocrats Shine Near All-Time Highs: JNJ, KO, XOM Lead the Pack
When it comes to dividend-paying stocks, those with a history of increasing payouts are prime candidates. Dividend Aristocrats, which have consistently raised their dividends for at least 25 years, stand out in this regard.
The Johnson & Johnson (JNJ) stock is one such example, as it has increased its dividend payout every year since 1953. This makes JNJ a Dividend King, a title held by companies with at least 50 years of consecutive annual dividend increases.
JNJ's diversified business model and strong operational performance have led to increased sales and adjusted EPS guidance in its latest quarterly release. The company is now on track to meet its 2026 target of more than $100 billion in annual revenue for the first time in its history.
Coca-Cola (KO) is another Dividend King, with a consistent record of increasing dividend payouts throughout its long-standing history. KO's brand equity and marketing efforts have supported a market share of over 40% in the non-alcoholic beverage industry.
ExxonMobil (XOM) shares have delivered strong performance in 2026 due to higher oil prices, which boost cash generation. XOM has been able to generate high levels of free cash flow despite lower oil prices, thanks to improved operational efficiencies.
