Arizona Thief Sentenced to Prison for Home Depot Thefts
A prolific thief who targeted Home Depot stores in Arizona has been sentenced to prison. Francisco Fuentes, convicted of hundreds of thefts across Pima County, was given 6.5 years in the Arizona Department of Corrections and seven years of probation.
Fuentes was also ordered to pay $101,753.21 in restitution to Home Depot, following an investigation by the Oro Valley Police Department and Home Depot loss prevention officials.
The case exposed a retail scheme that resulted in over $100,000 in losses for the home improvement store. Fuentes pleaded guilty to two counts of organized retail theft, one count of theft, and one count of illegally conducting an enterprise.
