Arm and IBM Unite for Enterprise-Focused Dual-Architecture Chip
Arm is teaming up with IBM to create a new dual-architecture processor that can run both Arm-based Linux environments and IBM's z/OS.
The chip, built on a 2 nm technology node, contains 11 high-performance cores and operates at over 5.7 GHz.
IBM and Arm claim this collaboration will bring the best of both worlds to enterprise infrastructure, combining IBM's reliability, security, and scalability with Arm's power-efficient architecture.
