Army HRC Deploys AI-Powered Support with Salesforce's Agentforce
The U.S. Army Human Resources Command (HRC) has deployed AI-powered support through Agentforce, a secure and autonomous platform developed by Salesforce. This marks the first Department of War organization to adopt this technology.
Agentforce will provide 24/7 support, responding to routine inquiries, summarizing case histories, and surfacing relevant policy and career information from approved Army sources. Complex matters involving benefits or other sensitive decisions can still be routed to HRC specialists, who retain decision-making authority.
The mission is to put service members first by extending the commitment to provide timely support around the clock. This deployment aims to reduce manual processing time, improve case routing, and eliminate redundant legacy systems, resulting in projected annual savings of $6 million.
