Ashton Boutique Named One of Nation's Favourite Businesses

Small Business Saturday has named Decisions Clothing in Ashton-under-Lyne as one of its Nation's Favourite Businesses for 2026. The independent boutique, founded by Val Unwin in 1999, offers handpicked designer womenswear from international labels.

As part of the annual campaign, Small Business Saturday showcases each business leading up to Small Business Saturday on December 5th. Michelle Ovens CBE, Director of Small Business Saturday UK, stated that small businesses are among the nation's favourite businesses and play a vital role in local economies.

American Express, which founded Small Business Saturday, is providing grant funding for two of this year's Nation's Favourite Businesses to invest in their next chapter of growth. Decisions Clothing is also celebrating its 27th anniversary this year, with owner Val Unwin turning 70.
