Asia's Airlines Set New Standard for Economy Class Seats
The airline industry has undergone significant changes in recent years, and one area that has seen improvement is economy class seating. While business and first-class seats often get the spotlight, many airlines have invested heavily in enhancing their economy class experience.
EVA Air, Singapore Airlines, and Korean Air are among the top airlines that offer superior economy class seats. EVA Air's Boeing 777-300ERs feature nine-abreast seating with 18-inch wide seats and wider aisles compared to other 777s. On the other hand, Singapore Airlines configures its Boeing 777-300ERs nine-abreast in economy as well, offering passengers more space.
Korean Air's economy seats offer at least 33 inches of legroom on most aircraft, with some featuring up to 35 inches. However, it's essential to note that Korean Air is merging with Asiana Airlines, which may affect the quality of their economy class experience in the future.
