Atlanta Couple Celebrates 50-Year Anniversary at McDonald's

A metro Atlanta couple is celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary at McDonald's, where they frequently dined during the early years of their marriage.

Mike and Susan Burks married in 1976 and lived around the corner from the restaurant on Northside Parkway.

'When we first got married, we lived around the corner in Vinings, and Susan didn't cook much. She sort of does now,' Mike Burks joked.

The couple would often eat at McDonald's twice a day, five times a week, and their go-to order was a Big Mac, fries, and a Coke.
